Kevin Delaney and Rich Shemaria first bonded over a shared interest in helicopters, insomnia, and other people’s dogs. But given their passion for music, it was only a matter of time before they collaborated creatively. And from Rich’s deep background in jazz and classical music as composer in residence at New York University and Kevin’s in New York’s post-punk and singer-songwriter scenes, an unlikely yet powerful musical chemistry emerged.

The result is High Springs — a lush, genre-bending mix of folk, rock, jazz, and classical sounds, with just a hint of funk. Combining Kevin’s poetic lyrics and expressive voice with Rich’s sublime orchestrations and keyboards — along with a world-class collection of Upper Manhattan’s finest talent — High Springs is a musical journey like no other.
